I was going through a particularly rough patch in school and was beyond sleep deprived.
I was sitting on the couch, reading my text, when I kinda... I dunno... I didn't have my eyes shut yet... but I was standing at the hospital elevator... and scolding a patient for trying to run away in his hospital gown.
My boyfriend, who was on the couch next to me, was watching me make hand gestures and he busted out laughing when I yelled, "Go put your clothes on!"
I snapped out of it and was kinda freaked. It was almost more like a hallucination than a dream.
Back when I was taking Micro, I was studying in my bath when I fell asleep.
Did you know that, not only do bacteriophages look like spacecraft, but that they kinda also look like wonky spiders?
So, I was sleeping in the tub, dreaming about these awful "bacteriophage spiders", until I suddenly woke up with a partially wet text. :uhoh21:
In school I know I studied hard when I would dream about the material. This happened to me A LOT, but some of the more notable ones was dreaming alllllll about the krebs cycle in biochem 2 and dreaming alllllll about critical care math problems after I was practicing them all day
From a work perspective, sometimes I'll hear IV pumps/tele/ventilator alarms going off in my head...

Lately, I do quite often. I often talk in my sleep about nurse-y type things (does that violate HIPAA
), especially when I take really long naps on my couch with my kids running around like they just drank a pot of coffee. My kids think it's hilarious when I talk in my sleep about school stuff--stops them in their tracks.
Seems as my nursing education progresses, so do my dreams. What about you?
