How many nursing schools are you applying to?

Published

I am curious as to how many you are going to apply for. I'm going for ABSN and I have 7 that I am interested in.

I am applying to one, it is a BSN program. Might put myself on the waiting list for the community college but it's so competitive here I feel like I need to BSN

Where do you live?

Specializes in Maternal Child, Home Health, Med/Surg.

There's only two around this area, and one BSN program. I'm going to apply for the two ASN ones.

Specializes in Psychiatry.

There's really only one school that has my heart, but I am applying to 3 others just to be safe. I would hate to have to sit around for a year if I only applied to one and did not get in. I think that's just my own insecurity though. From what I have seen of accepted students in the past, I should have a pretty good chance. Fingers crossed for all of us!!

I know what you mean. I have so much riding on this. I think that's why I am applying to 7-8 different schools. If I don't get in to any of them...I'm going to bang my head in to a wall lmao.

I was accepted to my BSN program of choice for fall (so glad the GPA game is over!), but I applied to three schools at the time just to be safe :)

I have 10 on my list (so far), two are out of state and the rest are in state (woo, Massachusetts!)

I only applied to one ADN and was accepted for the fall :) My back up plan would have been to work a lot until the next application period.

I'm in Mass :) Holyoke Community College here.

3 BSN programs just to see if I will be accepted or not, but there's just 1 I actually want to attend.

Same! Also applying to 1 ADN as a last resort. I really hope it doesn't come to that though. ADN+bridge will take longer than straight BSN. :(
