How many Male School Nurses are out there? I'm a school nurse at my alma mater high school. Curious to see who is one in NJ and in the US!

I guess this is better than "is it cramps or nausea". Honestly, my students see me as my boys' dad more than anything else and are upfront, but I think I'll switch to this. Thanks.

I have high school kids, and I like to ask them the real terms (for instance: "When was your last menstrual period or are you on it?" And "when was your last bowel movement?" It is insane to me how many students do not know what either of those terms are. But hey, I grew up with a nurse mom, so...

Oh, so do I. But when you have four kids at once in your tiny office like I do, looking at a girl and asking them this question means I don't actually get the answer I need and it is 10 minutes later when I can be with them 1 to 1 when I do get it.
I love real terms. I teach sex ed to every single one of these students. I encourage them. They know the terms and I use them after that first question. But I gotta find a bridge there sometimes as everyone's comfort level is different in an office that unfortunately isn't as private as a primary care exam room ;).
