How many got only 75 questions?

Published

I took the NCLEX yesterday morning and I was done in an hour and only got 75 questions. When it shut off, my heart sank and I felt sick. I had no dosage cal. questions(which I'm good at), lots of pharm.(which I suck at), and a ton of priority questions. I hate this waiting and it's only been one day. :o

okay. so today i took my nclex and got 75 questions, as many of you got here. i got tons of check all that apply, prioritization, teaching and a lot of meds. i am freaking out, because i know that i got my last question wrong. i read a post somewhere saying that doesn't mean you failed, but i just can't stop thinking of the worst. i feel sick and i'm so scared, because i am working as a graduate nurse right now, and will be devistated if i didnt pass and would loose my job. thse 48 hours are probably the most stressful, that i have ever been thru. *please God, let me be one of the ones who passes at 75!*

I only got 75 and I am a nervous wreck, it took me approximately 58 minutes.. When it shut off I actually jumped because it scared me. I, like a lot of you, didn't get any metrology questions. Most of my questions were pharmacology of drugs that I' have never heard of, alternate format, and prioritizing. I feel like I couldn't have done that good to pass after 75 questions and I also feel like I couldn't have done that bad to fail after 75 questions. So, I will be a nervous wreck until Thursday. Argh!!!

I can't believe I just took the NCLEX!!!:uhoh21:

ok so everyone is talking about how they passed in 75 questions, all my friends passed at 75. I had 110. Can anyone offer me some hope and tell me they passed in a number that was not 75 or 265? I know it doesn't matter.

To top that off, my last question was easy I think. It was about teaching for hep a. But who knows what they consider high or low cognitive level questions.

This is a terrible feeling. Especially since I have been working as a GN for two months already & I don't know what happens to my job if I fail.

:(

I took it two days ago on 9/4/07. I had 75 questions and just found out this morning that I passed!

I had about 10 select-all-that-apply questions, about ten meds, a lot of priority, delegation, and stuff about transmission based precautions. I also had a drag-and-drop question about how to do a blood transfusion and what is called an "Exhibit" question where they give you an actual assessment.

I am so happy it's a load off!

Now I just have to look for a job :-)
