I took the NCLEX yesterday morning and I was done in an hour and only got 75 questions. When it shut off, my heart sank and I felt sick. I had no dosage cal. questions(which I'm good at), lots of pharm.(which I suck at), and a ton of priority questions. I hate this waiting and it's only been one day.
Took the NCLEX on JULY 9th... got 75 questions. Thought I failed, I felt so bad. I was sick when I took the test, but 48 hrs later I FOUND OUT I PASSED... SWEET!!! Could not believe it, I am finally a RN.
Got no med math which I am good at but one select all. OMG is was so hard. It is pretty amazing how 75 question can assess my nursing knowledge and say I am a competent Nurse.
I also think I almost did 5000 practice questions.
i'm in texas. i took the test monday and just found out i passed. i'm so happy!!!!!! i don't know how many questions i had. when i hit the button after answering number 75 and it didn't shut off, my heart sank. i think i was putting too much effort into thinking about every detail of every question. after #75, i just started going with the first answer that looked right. it took me 2 hours to get to 75 and only 10 minutes to get to 100 from there. that was the last time i looked at the number. the computer shut off shortly after that, so i'm guessing i got 110 to 120. it doesn't matter now though. all that matters is that i passed...and i can keep my job!!! good luck to all of you who are still waiting.
Just found out I failed with 75 questions!!
Oh Angie,
Darn.
....double darn...

edit: I see you are in the UK, I wonder if somehow the test is not actually 'internationally' applicable in that there are colloquisms from the US? bummer Obviously you "know" this, you are a nurse and will definately pass soon!

Oh no, angiebaby2!! I'm so sorry.
I just took my NCLEX today and I'm feeling as though I failed. I wish you the best... I know you will pass the next time. Hang in there. I wish we didn't have to go through this torture! As if nursing school wasn't bad enough!
My thoughts are with you.
