How many got only 75 questions?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I took the NCLEX yesterday morning and I was done in an hour and only got 75 questions. When it shut off, my heart sank and I felt sick. I had no dosage cal. questions(which I'm good at), lots of pharm.(which I suck at), and a ton of priority questions. I hate this waiting and it's only been one day. :o

Oh no, angiebaby2!! I'm so sorry. :o I just took my NCLEX today and I'm feeling as though I failed. I wish you the best... I know you will pass the next time. Hang in there. I wish we didn't have to go through this torture! As if nursing school wasn't bad enough!

My thoughts are with you.

My computer also shut off at 75........April, your test questions were similar to mine. I also got 2 math calc.....etc.....However I feel like i did not pass. I walked out of there in a blur. I remember walking out of there saying "oh my God!!" repeatedly.

Thanks Netty - yes it is so annoying as I am already a qualified Staff Nurse here in England!!! Not giving up tho!!!

Took the NCLEX on JULY 9th... got 75 questions. Thought I failed, I felt so bad. I was sick when I took the test, but 48 hrs later I FOUND OUT I PASSED... SWEET!!! Could not believe it, I am finally a RN.

Got no med math which I am good at but one select all. OMG is was so hard. It is pretty amazing how 75 question can assess my nursing knowledge and say I am a competent Nurse.

I also think I almost did 5000 practice questions.

i'm in texas. i took the test monday and just found out i passed. i'm so happy!!!!!! i don't know how many questions i had. when i hit the button after answering number 75 and it didn't shut off, my heart sank. i think i was putting too much effort into thinking about every detail of every question. after #75, i just started going with the first answer that looked right. it took me 2 hours to get to 75 and only 10 minutes to get to 100 from there. that was the last time i looked at the number. the computer shut off shortly after that, so i'm guessing i got 110 to 120. it doesn't matter now though. all that matters is that i passed...and i can keep my job!!! good luck to all of you who are still waiting.

congrats Lahorne. When do you start orientation?

I got 75 q's and passed first time. Total torture!! Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.........then again, it is total torture!LOL!;):lol2::trout:

edit: I see you are in the UK, I wonder if somehow the test is not actually 'internationally' applicable in that there are colloquisms from the US? bummer Obviously you "know" this, you are a nurse and will definately pass soon!

I just found out today I passed with 75 questions! Woohoo!!:roll

Hi guys

I also passed with 75 questions under 2 hours.:balloons:.......I can not believe it...all praise to my God.

I used kaplan.......question bank and trainer were the best...very hard...but most similar to the real thing.

all the best

I found out today that I passed too with 75 questions! Kaplan was the best preparation in my opinion. Saunders was too easy but a good starter to study, especially the content portions. I also believe in confidence and prayer!!

I passed with 75 questions the first time. I used mostly Kaplan to study....had lots of priority and teaching questions. Also several meds, and about 5 check all that apply! Ugh! Glad it's over. Good luck to all who are studying or waiting!
