I’m in California been over a week, got unofficial pass . Where’s my license? How long did you have to wait?

I took my test yesterday (Thursday) afternoon. I checked my states board of nursing license site for my name and it was listed there with my license number this morning (Friday). I didn't even get my quick results from Pearson yet so I was shocked I got my nursing license so quickly

I took it in California too but took it as minnesota boards. However, they changed their system to require fingerprinting since the last time I took it and they needed me to complete that step before officially posting my license on BRN. Took almost a whole month! So be patient and know that it will be official in no time.

Many states will post a license 1-2 days after passing NCLEX. California seems to be in the several weeks to month timeline. I am not sure if it is volume of nursing applications, lack of staffing, disorganization, or combination of all factors.
