I just wanted to post a quick unofficial Poll as to who you will be voting for in the US Election.

This thread was only intended to be a poll. Not a political discussion. Feel Free to reply with your choice if you want, but please no political arguments, slams or jabs :) Lets keep this a clean and simple poll ;)

I just thought that it would be interesting to find out where all the AN'ers fall and see if we are consistent with other polls out there?

Yes, actually in Miami, I know someone who waited 9 hours in line yesterday for Early Voting! I waited for 3 hours and I thought that was long!

and for all you Floridians, remember to vote NO to Amendment 2 :)

Obama here and I voted last Wednesday :) Pretty exciting that Indiana is such a battleground state, we haven't gone blue in over 40 years! Tomorrow will be exciting for sure. Wish I didn't have to work so I could sit in front of the TV all day!

After 232 years the full realization of the Constitution will happen. A President of the US will come from African American heritage and end what split this nation for over 200 years. Many died in the civil war (the war of states rights) when abolition was interjected (after near 100 years) for political gain to an unfavorable war. We forget about that. We forget about how many people of all colors suffered, women (1919), Chineese (didn't get the right to vote until 1954) white people died in ditches in Mississippi so all people in the US can cast a balot for who they want to led them. This is not "partisan" it is representation of all US citizens (I can't help it if the majority agrees with one political party... then the other side needs to become more palitable to more folks)!

Go Obama!

BTW, I voted for McCain in the 2000 primary because I didn't trust a Texas governor who put to death a born again Christian and MOCKER HER! I have no problem with fulfilling the law... it's how Bush mocked this woman that made me not trust him. But McCain has changed over the past year and I switched parties as the Republicans have left their conservative principles (smaller government, less intrussive government, budget conscious) for more radical ideas like spying on citizens, detaining people indeffinatle, torture, the suspention of habius corpus, spend on a war..... on and on! I look forward to the end of eight years of this! That and I lost my business, $400,000 this year due to a poor economy while we focused on a war in Iraq and not our oun Country. I was a republican.... now I just want my country back on track no mater who runs it or what color he is!

24 more hours and it's settled! Thank God!

I will be casting my vote for John McCain. My teenager has asked that I wait until after school so that she can accompany me. Makes me proud. I am a 2nd generation American and my grandparents instilled in us a profound appreciation for our right to vote.

I'm taking my 7 year old and my 19 year old daughter, who is driving home from college to vote. (3 hours away).

i don't know if anyone will answer but just out of sheer curiosity..

those who are not voting at all..... why not?

i admit i did not vote in the 2004 election because i did not like either candidate and didnt think it would sit well on my conscience to vote for anyone "just because"....

My 23 year old son is not voting  because he doesn't like either candidate.

My oldest (25) is voting McCain. I think my daughter is too - although she voted for Ron Paul in the primary. I know she isn't voting Obama because she calls me all the time to tell me about the conversations she has at school with those who are voting Obama. Pretty funny.

My 7 year old just came up to me and said "I get to go to the polls with you don't I?". Yep.:D "Can I vote?" Well, you can tell the ladies who you want to vote for. "Ok, I'm voting for McCain". :D
