How did everyone do this semester?

Nursing Students General Students

Just wondering how did everyone finish out the semester. I managed to get through my seconds semester with 3 As and 1 B. It helps that only 2 were nursing courses and other 2 were general education! LOL You don't have to post your grades if you're not comfortable. I'm just wondering are people feeling as good about their work as much as the effort they put in? Any plans for summer?

Summer!!!

I am very pleased with how I did and am pleased to see areas where I also can improve. So far, everything is going great! One semester down, three to go!

I did great--I passed, in a program that's basically pass/fail. Some people talk about grades and how they're so mad/glad about the A they did/didn't get, but really...in a program that will fail you out based on one skills practical exam, the letter grades become completely meaningless.

Our final grades aren't in yet, because we still have one final and the HESI to take. I did the math, though, and I only need a 9 out of 30 on my Pharma final exam to pass, and I don't even need to "pass" the HESI this semester. I'll still try my darndest!

I love it when I'm secure enough with my grades to be able to fail a final and still pass the class. Obviously I wouldn't TRY to fail, but it certainly takes the worry away.

In my nursing courses, I came one point short of an A-. Well, one grade may be rounded, but I'm not counting on that. My non-nursing course was an easy A. Next time.

My semester isn't over for 5 more weeks but I have 2 tests left in every class and as long as I pass those I think I will end up having 2 B's and an A. Hopefully I will end up with 2 A's and a B but I'm not sure what my one grade will be since it's 60% theory and 40% lab.

Looks like everyone was doing awesome this semester! I ended up with a C+ in theory and a B in clinical, but considering 75 is failing, and a 97 is an A in our school, I am proud of my C+. Getting ready for next semester by reading and taking notes on the book ahead of time, hoping that I do have a better grade for nursing 3. In my other gen. ed. classes I ended up with two As, but I am more happy with my nursing grade.:yeah:

All A's this semester. Next semester is gonna be a killer, though (Peds, psych, med surg III)...

Honestly, I just want to pass. I do not care about A's anymore. I had a final today we won't know the grade until tomorrow and a final tomorrow that I need to do well on. Just.want.to.pass. :(

Not only did I make Dean's List again this semester, but now I am officially a senior BSN student! This semester was killer and I am so glad I made it through with my GPA unscathed.

Four more classes until graduation ...I'm a happy student nurse :)

97! Ours is 94 and failing is less than 80. I too read ahead on classes during semester breaks.

That's good you made the Dean's List! I hate it that here we don't make the Dean's List or honor roll or anything unless we are taking 12 or more hours. If you are taking just the nursing classes, it only adds up to 9-11 hours. Never mind that I do WAY more work and work much harder for A's than I ever did for a full-time load of non-nursing classes!

Yes luckily our nursing classes are 6 credits each, for the most part, so the 12 credits qualifies me for the dean's list. I finished my gen-eds and all that other stuff before I entered the nursing part of the bachelor's degree, so it's great that most of the nursing classes are 6 credits. But yes, those two nursing classes are more work than any other gen-ed or pre-req I've ever taken!
