Houston Residencies Summer 2019!!

Can you believe applications have started opening up? Anyway, just an early start for everyone to discuss.

I'm planning on applying to Harris Health, Memorial Hermann, Methodist, & TCH, and I will be applying to multiple locations for each. I'm trying to decide if I should branch out and apply at some places out of state or not since I want a very demanding specialty, but I'm not necessarily ready to uproot my family just for my residency. I'm open to suggestions or thoughts from others who have been through this part of the experience already.

@mk1284 I went for the interview at MH NE too on May 24th. Unfortunately i don't know the start date. Did you get an offer already? from the recruiter?

i got an offer on 6/7 i think. they sent an email and called me. theres information to fill out on the job website but that hasnt opened yet. what units did you interview for?

Congratulations!!!!. I interviewed for medsurg cardiac unit. What unit did you get?

I heard from other locations that its July 8th. Are you BSN or ADN?

Hey, I went to the match day at Northeast also. Did you complete a shadow day? I'm still waiting to hear back from them, I think I will follow up on Monday.

yeah, i shadowed 5/28 during night shift. was anyone offered a day position?

Med/Surg Nuero and Med/Surg Surgical. I just sent an email to the recruiter Gil, hopefully I will hear something back.
