Nope... I asked the Nurse Manager when I interviewed and she said you do not haft to stay on the same unit.

That's great... I think Im gonna stick with MH because I didn't like the HCA location (Northwest) or the unit (Observation)

The recruiter told me that you would haft to sign a 2 year commitment and also you haft to stay on that unit for those 2 years. That 2nd part turned me off

I just scanned the documents to my computer all together (single sided) and attached it to the email in the correct order

On the survey that you complete it asks you to select a preferred location and unit. It also states that 80% or more of the positions are at Medical Center location.

I just received the email for St. Luke's October 2019 Nurse Residency. It's asking to scan some documents and submit them by 07/21, and the Interview day will be 08/23 (No phone or video interviews). You haft to submit the survey attached, your resume and transcript (unofficial)

I shadowed for Med/Surg Surgical and Neuro also. Did You call her cell number?

I believe you do like speed interviews with a bunch of units (not sure if you get to choose) and they will let you know which ones choose to interview with you. That's what everyone said the experience was for the summer.

I also applied on the day it opened and have not heard anything. From reading other forums it looks like they don't start contacting you until mid-July. Hopefully we hear something soon.

I went to my Interview at Memorial Hermann NE today for the IMU unit and it went well. I will be going to complete the shadowing on this Friday. The nurse manager was really nice. She stated that she was interviewing four people total for the position and if it came down to it she would hire all four of us. Keeping my fingers crossed.
