Can you believe applications have started opening up? Anyway, just an early start for everyone to discuss.
I'm planning on applying to Harris Health, Memorial Hermann, Methodist, & TCH, and I will be applying to multiple locations for each. I'm trying to decide if I should branch out and apply at some places out of state or not since I want a very demanding specialty, but I'm not necessarily ready to uproot my family just for my residency. I'm open to suggestions or thoughts from others who have been through this part of the experience already.

I think it did prepare me well. Did I feel prepared? No. But after I started my test and saw how similar the format that uworld and nclex had, I felt more at ease. To me nclex was bit easier than uworlds practice questions, in the sense that it was easier to read.

For anyone who has received an offer from TCH - did your offer letter disclose that they are an "termination at will" employer meaning they can terminate you at anytime? I have never seen this before and am wondering if everyone else had this disclosure on their offer.
Texas is a termination at will state. Any job can let you go for any reason. Thats just what they're saying.
