Hi everyone! I will be graduating with my BSN this semester and I'm applying for residencies in the Houston area. I already applied to Houston Methodist but wanted to hear about other programs that might be interesting. Best of luck!

Hi! Thanks for starting this thread. I'll be applying to Texas Children's and Memorial Hermann. Anyone heard when those might open?

Hi, I will also be graduating this semester. I already applied for Methodist as well and will be soon applying to the other hospitals as well. My heart is set on Texas Children's or MD Anderson. We can update each other on when we hear or see about openings of other residency openings.

Hi! I graduate this December and would love to move to the Houston area. So far I have only applied to Methodist but I plan to apply for Harris health, memorial Herman, and HCA. The NICU is my top choice and my other two options are PICU or PEDS ED. What about you guys!

Hi guys! I plan to graduate in December 2023. I am interested in applying to the OR / ICU. Ideally, I would like to work at MD Anderson or Baylor St. Luke's in the TMC. Let me know if you guys have any other information to share.
Does anyone know when St Luke's starts accepting applications? What about MH?
I'm interested in ICU/IMU
Harris Health Nurse residency is open and close on 9/17

has anyone heard from Methodist yet? I also applied for the Winter cohort. how long does it usually take for hospitals to reach out to new grads after application?

I have applied to Methodist and Harris Health System so far.
On my to-do list:
Memorial Hermann
Baylor St Luke's
HCA West
VA
MD Anderson
Anybody know what pay to expect?
I know that Memorial Hermann pays 34/hr and after 6 months it goes to 35/hr. TMC location offers a geographic differential of 2.75.
Anyone know how much other systems pay?
