   I applied to MH the first day the application opened and I haven't heard back. I applied for CVICU and heart failure ICU. I imagine those specialities are highly competitive. I hate all the waiting LOL..

   Thank you. It's for acute care/med surg. They gave me a link to pick which type of floor I wanted, I selected chest pain & stroke. It's October 3rd.

    Anybody looking to get into the VA? The pay and benefits are top notch. My only problem is I want ICU but they don't hire new grads for that specialty so I'd probably have to do med surg.

    I am not sure about MD Anderson. MH just opened today. I think the VA opens up in October. HCA & Baylor are currently open.
