Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2021 Applicants

I wanted to start a new thread for those of us applying to Houston new grad nurse residency programs to ask questions and share information.

I am brand new to this site so I hope I'm doing this correctly... Good luck everyone!

I just by chance checked the HM TMC link they sent to schedule times and there was ONE open for Wednesday so I took it. I think I went too fast when booking it because I was excited...I may not have followed the directions correctly? I re-read the email and we are supposed to put our preference of zoom or facetime in the phone number field? I just put my number...those of you who have done it already, will that be OK?

Yes I did the same thing and they just sent me a follow up email asking to confirm FaceTime or zoom. Don’t worry

Anyone who has a pre screening interview with Methodist can you give some insight about what it was like? I’m super nervous because I’m not sure what to expect ?

@NurseL21 OR and ER both at the heights location were my choices. I received an email from both units

I work for UTMB right now. You have to go to their career page and simply look for Nurse Clinician I posts.
