Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2021 Applicants

I wanted to start a new thread for those of us applying to Houston new grad nurse residency programs to ask questions and share information.

I am brand new to this site so I hope I'm doing this correctly... Good luck everyone!

I believe everyone status says no longer under consideration for the Nurse Residency program. As long as your First or Second choice says application received you should be fine. I know it’s so confusing

Don’t don’t how much it helps but I did attach 2 LOR and a cover letter ???‍♀️

I still never got an email from Methodist.. anyone else not get anything? I want to make sure I don't need to contact them

I have not gotten anything from Methodist. I’m just trying to be patient. Were we supposed to have gotten something?

I just got an email from Methodist willowbrook inviting me for a prescreening event. I applied for the L&D position.

I did I too. When I clicked on the Google doc link it says emergency department at the top. Does that show for you as well?

I haven't received an assessment, and my application hasn't been sent to individual hospitals. It's my original application and it still says "under review".

I just got the assessment from Memorial Hermann.

So I signed up for the prescreen event Friday morning for the ER. Do you have any idea of what it’ll consist of? Like is it basically an interview?
