Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2021 Applicants

I wanted to start a new thread for those of us applying to Houston new grad nurse residency programs to ask questions and share information.

I am brand new to this site so I hope I'm doing this correctly... Good luck everyone!

They said addressing it to "Nurse Residency Program" was fine! That's what I did. and then put the address of my first choice location.

I just finished applying and I am so nervous AHHHHHH. I like this application process better than Methodist.

Same...like for Methodist there is no way to check up on app status or even know if anybody received your app LOL it’s annoying

No ? their website says to email HR but I can’t find that email anywhere

Hey guys! Just wanted to make sure everyone is okay being that we have a power outage... I haven’t had power since Monday and it’s been really annoying. My Clinicals have been canceled till further notice, so I’m just hanging in there hoping this is all over soon. Hope everyone is staying safe and warm ?

I have no power and water, it is very cold. Praying our test is moved cuz I can't focus on studying. Everything is just stressful.

Did anyone else receive emails from MH stating that your 1st and 2nd Choice applications has been received?

Yes, two, I got a separate email for each at different times

I didn't, I only got the general email right after applying. when did you guys receive those emails?

I received both of my emails back to back at like 12:30

But I haven't received the assessment. Have anyone received the assessment yet from MH?
