Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2021 Applicants

I wanted to start a new thread for those of us applying to Houston new grad nurse residency programs to ask questions and share information.

I am brand new to this site so I hope I'm doing this correctly... Good luck everyone!

I just received emails for both hospitals saying it’s recieved. Not assessment.

I got one of them right after applying then the second one today. I was confused at first as to why I got two of the same emails but if you look closely in the email it says which location it is from. I haven't gotten the behavioral assessment yet though

I only got one email saying it was received after applying on Sunday. I never got a second email ?

It doesn’t mean anything specifically, everyone will get that! I've applied before

so I shouldn’t worry if I havent gotten a second email yet then? will everyone get them at some point? I know they are probably majorly delayed in the review process because of the current situation.

Yeah... should I be concerned I only received one? And it did not specify which unit they were acknowledging receiving it for. They just said “we received you application for the nurse residency program”

I just received another email from Memorial Hermann Katy but not for memorial city yet

It means your application has been processed and forwarded to the two hospitals.  You are only allowed to apply to two locations.
