Seriously....A test on 21 chapters?! I don't know what to say but with alot of studying I'm sure you do great!! I start my first classes soon so I'm sure it won't be long before I can truly relate to the wonderful workload that is nursing school! Good luck!

That's less than three chapters a day! Yes, you CAN.

Pace yourself, pace yourself, pace yourself!

I had the same situation my 2nd semester of nursing school. We had 26 chapters for our first test, and the test was in a week and a half. It is able to be done. So just read at any available moment you have and you will get through. :D I had the same reaction, trust me it does ease up a little bit, just hang in there.

OMG the same thing happened to me when I first started my psych nursing class. We had 25 chapters to read in a week. I was freaking out. Luckily they were very short and it came out to be a little over 200 pages. And then of course I found out that you could study out of the NCLEX book and be ok.

Yep, sounds like nursing school! Just don't get behind in your reading assignments, don't miss lecture or labs and make sure you eat and sleep.

They bust your balls in the first few weeks because there is so much fundamentals to learn. They need you to get some skills under your belt so you will have something to do in clinicals. After you get all those basic skills, for instance assessments, you build upon them through school.

Keep up with the reading and remember--you worked hard to get here, so enjoy it.

goodluck!

Yep, first few days seemed overwhelming...but it'll get easier to manage - you just need to find your groove!!! GOOD LUCK! Now get back to reading! :D
