Lately my employers haven't even been sending holiday greeting cards. Stopped getting birthday cards a very long time ago. And sure do miss the employers who had lunches to go along with mandatory in services.
Confession: We got a Christmas bonus but it's not very big. Everyone in all departments gets the same amount. I was feeling a little down that it wasn't more, but it sounds like I should be grateful I got one at all. As a new nurse, I thought bonuses were the norm, but I guess not!
We also got a small random gift like a mug or hand soap or a candle.
And a printed card with a generic handwritten "thank you/Merry Christmas" note at the bottom.
And we occasionally get lunches with our in-services.

A whopping $0 is what we're getting this year, on top of $0 raise. Worked in healthcare for 4 years now and the most I got was maybe a $25 gift card. Missing the days when I used to get $12k-$16k (top $18k) annual bonus plus a pension contribution that was 20% of my salary+bonus. I wasn't even a revenue generator.

Boo. Not even the "here's your $.06 raise?"
I'll send you my ham.

I work for the county, so no bonus, nor would I expect one. My manager though, makes each of us small ornaments and brings in baked goodies.

We get a $25 MasterCard gift card and our interim manager bought us pizza and drinks - I thought that was very nice of her!

I've worked in three hospitals in different states in different positions (ER Paramedic, Unit Coordinator, and Program Manager) and have never received a holiday bonus. At my most recent hospital I was given a hush-hush half a day off, which honestly was a ridiculous thing to encourage since the person who gave it left early everyday and had himself received a massive holiday bonus (multiple thousands; as manager I was privy to his salary and bonuses).
The only bonus I have ever received in my "working career" was a $40 Amazon gift card. I was 21 working as an English teacher, and I was given it only because I was a "top performer". 80% of the staff didn't get anything but a candy cane.
All my friends in finance receive bonuses, but the few I have in medical (save for a veterinarian) do not receive anything.

Hey, that jives with my guess for my workplace. :^) Of course, there may be McDonald's $5 gift certificates, y'know...

We get a bonus at the end of the year instead of a raise. Full time gets one amount and part time gets another. It's the same amounts for each depending on full time or part time, and has nothing to do with performance. Not individualized. At other places I've worked, we got some sort of "token" such as a 4 piece See's candy box or a cheap, plastic drink cup with the hospital logo....and, if you weren't around on the shift they were passing them out on, you didn't get anything at all.

4 pc See's candy? The box would be worth more than the candy.
