Hi guys! I need help. I am a new registered nurse. Has anyone know a hospital that is hiring for staff nurse or a hospital that has training for new graduate nurses this feb or march 2008? I have inquired in so many hospitals but I had a hard time looking for one. Thank you very much. :balloons:

@twisted189,

I have submitted my resume at Sacred Heart Medical Center last September. :yeah:

Since it was a local holiday during that time (and the HR department / Nursing Service was closed)

I have left my resume to the guard. I haven't received any confirmation, until now, but I hope to hear from them soon. Thanks for your info.

The National Center for Mental Health in Mandaluyong is always in need of nurses. You don't need the training when they can offer you an actual job and that will serve as your training as well. It may take a while for the screening process but that facility needs pyschiatric nurses.

I agree. We all know how many patients AND colleagues that needs our help there. There is about 40+ to 3 or 4 nurses per pavillion.. though not all pavillions. The point is, there's so many patients from all over our country that comes there and it's too much for their staffs.

i heard that you need to have a backer there in ncmh..but im not that sure.i just wanna ask if it is really true?and if not,are they open for hiring?thanks for this info...im just one ride from there compare to capitol that i tried passing my credentials weeks ago..

Hi Karmela! Please update us if ever you were able to pass your application to NCMH. I have been contemplating whether I would apply there or not... I want to be a Psychiatric Nurse but I'm not sure if it would be a good career move to start my career there in NCMH.

Having a hard time applying as a staff nurse.. hehe..

Specializes in ER.

Try applying in small hospital (primary/secondary) or in the province. Just to enhance basic skills then you may try applying in tertiary hospital/s. By that time, you already have your advantage as having hospital experience printed on your resume. Good luck!

sure salingcatcat.. =) just like you,im also confused to go there and pass my credentials.anyway,trying won't hurt me..within this month i'll try and let you know what will happen,i'll just post here if they're really accepting staff nurse..

may god bless us job hunters!!hehe...

i have checked almost all of the hospitals in manila and even in our province in pangasinan but still all of them are freeze hiring.do you have any information when hospitals are going to hire again?please help?!

Specializes in Pre-hospital Care, Remote medicine.

But they're not freeze in accepting volunteers and trainees right? Of course, workers are flocking to work for hospitals for free, why hire if you can have workers work for you for free? hmm...
