  1. that is only the tetative date for our training.we should all receive a text from medical city to know if the training will push through.
  2. i received a text as well.however i have paid for my training at medical city as well on nov 15.
  3. yeah.i think so iloveGod.but we are all 200 trainess so lets do our best to get in.see you soon.have you completed all of the requirements?
  4. after encoding you still have to wait if you are shortlisted by the HR.after you passed all the exams and interviews that would be the time that you would pay the training fee of 2500 for 1 month.
  5. hey enaira sorry for the late reply..yeah during that time the only thing needed from an aspiring staff nurse are the board rating, prc no., register date, expiry date, and birthdate but right now they said that they need a complete essay of your resume to b encoded in their system, if you are shortlisted you will get a text from HR for your technical exam, if you pass the exam, next would be psychological exam, then initial interview which only took 5mins because it is only about personal stuff, then for the final interview with sir ron which is very technical.he would ask questions depending on your hospital experience. common disease that he asks are cva,mi,and also procedures.if you pass the technical interview you will be texted when to go back for the payment of ntap and you would be given the list of requirements.
  6. wait for the text of the HR, they will ask you to go there again to bring 2500 for the training for 1month and to give you the requirements that you should accomplish before or during the training.hope we all pass the ntap.as for what i have heard there will be 200 trainees so best of luck for all of us.
  7. thank you hot_rod3484.you too good luck on your job hunting!:)
  8. thanx sugarplum18rn,i think tmc would be the best choice with their facility as well.i agree with you.
  9. hey hot_rod infant jesus is hiring for staff nurse but i dont exactly know their process.before at tmc they only require several info from an rn such as prc no. expiry date, birthdate, board rating, so it was easy for my classmate to encode me.however right now i think you have to go there yourself because they said that there was an essay part about ur resume.my classmate trained there however he hasnt been called yet if he will be hired because he has to renew first his prc license which was a requirement since he was assigned to cath lab.
  10. training for staff nurse.it will start on november.i just asked my classmate who was training there before to encode my information in their database.every nurse who wants to be a staff needs to undergo that training.there would be a technical exam, psych exam, psych interview, tech interview. it was a long process of waiting.good luck to all of us.
  11. thanx sugarplum!!it's so far though.hehe and my classmate said that the waiting period to be hired is very indefinite.but still i think im going for tmc!thanx again!
  12. thanx ceftriaxone, thing is i already paid for my training at medical city which is 2500 for 1 month and i have heard that after the one month training im gonna be contractual for 3 months.on the 2nd month they will evaluate me if they are going to make me probee or extend for another 3 months contractual.then if im going to be a probee that would last for 3 months, after that 3 months that would only be the time that i would be regular staff at tmc.for infant jesus they said that they need 1000 for 1 month training.after that i dont know what the process there will be.tmc has excellent facility and i think they are in the process of jci accreditation however it is far from where i live, while infant jesus is nearer but is not well known.the lady who interviewed me was kind and she was easy to talk to at infant jesus.huhuhu i dont know which one to pick.
  13. we had our interview awhile ago,it was both personal and technical stuff.the lady who interviewed me was very kind and she was smiling all the time.however i have a big problem because if ever i get hired at infant jesus i have already paid the ntap for medical city.where do you think is better guys?infant jesus or medical city?
  14. hey fellow nurses do you know any hospitals that accept volunteer?thank you so much.
  15. i am scheduled for an interview on oct 14.any tips on the panel and final interview?i thought that the panel and final interview are just the same.any technical questions such as suctioning, ivt?im not from st paul or plm so i dont have an advantage.pls help fellow nurses.im getting really nervous, cant focus.
