Hiring nurses in Philippines

Hi guys! I need help. I am a new registered nurse. Has anyone know a hospital that is hiring for staff nurse or a hospital that has training for new graduate nurses this feb or march 2008? I have inquired in so many hospitals but I had a hard time looking for one. Thank you very much. :balloons:

Hi,

try to inquire at PGH, they're accepting nurses without experience. you just need to take the exam first (scheduled on april 2012) for 200.00 and bring a photocopy of your license (back to back) and fill out the form.

Also the medical city in pasig and Asian Hospital in Alabang are accepting newly registered nurses..=)

I had a co-worker with my prev call center company who's working in Makati med. He said that you need to pay 25k for 6months of training then you will be absorbed based on your performance... a lot of money without assurance..

Likewise with PGH my friend took the exam and passed it and had to pay 14,900 for the 6moths training

Isn't it that these institutions are no longer allowed to charge training fees?

It is really bad for Filipino nurses status try to read an article from ABS-CBN about nursing here in america

Nurse On Call: US labor market tough for Filipino Nurses until 2020

May you please tell me the process that you went through. Did you took any tests or they just interview you? Are they going to absorb you after that training? May you please enlighten me more about it. I hope you will answer my questions. Thank you very much and Godbless! :)

Try applying at Chong Hua Hospital in Cebu. They are currently accepting nurse applicants. I'm from Manila, passed my application personally last August and this coming September 26 our didactics will start. Try your luck here fellow nurses. God bless!

May you please enlighten me more about it. I hope you will answer my questions. Thank you very much and Godbless!

is PGH still open for examineeS? any updates on any of the hosp within MM? thank you!

PGH exam for nurses is always open but upon passing the exam, it will take you around 2-3 years to get hired. That is if you pass all the requirements such as the interviews. I applied for their exam last October 2011 and was scheduled on Jan 2012. I passed the exam and upon submission of required documents, I am scheduled for interview this July 2012 so as you can see, it is a really long process but according to them, if you get hired and finish the 2 year contract, you can be hired again in PGH anytime already so for now I think it would be best just to apply and see what happens.

With hospitals in MM, I know UST training is open maybe June. Makati Med just closed its CETN program while Manila doctors, you have to pass your requirements and wait and see if they contact you.

I just had my exam recently here and it's been years since I got back to nursing exams. Though I must say that the questions, if you really had a good nursing practice back on your RLE days, are basic. Since the proctor said that the answers are not really of the ideal type unlike the NLE, the answers are really and must be thought of. After all, the mortality rate of the examiners are 80%-95%.

@reshin How long did u wait for your interview after passing the requiremnts in pgh?
