I have decided to start a thread for HCC future nurses that are applying for class beginning 2015 of spring. I would like us all to be able to share and relate to one another, while experiencing this exciting moment. I know it may seem a little early but better sooner then later. This will be my last semester before I can apply to the program. I am registered to take micro with lab and humanities fall 2014. I will be able to submit my application in right after my grades are posted. The deadline for the 2015 spring class is June 1st if I am not mistaken. How is everyone else holding up?

5 more weeks until the week of school.. can't believe it's so close and still no books for me

Where do we get the patches?? I need to get my whole uniform still!! Ugh so much to do.

Patches are sold at the bookstore. I got them at DM and they were $2.95 each.

Here is a good test taking tips for nursing students link. Someone gave me this link before I started NP1 last Spring and it really helped. I hope you like it. Try to relax and enjoy your holiday break because once you start NP1 its full speed ahead for the next 2 years.

Hi everyone! I will be starting at the Southshore campus and have been secretly stalking this feed for months lol :p I was curious as to where we are suppose to get our patches for our uniforms? I was told it was Patricks but I wanted to double check that. Also, any ideas for the best places to get our equipment for clinicals? pin-light, stethoscope etc...

The patches come from HCC bookstore. I got some of my equipment from uniform city. I'm not sure where to recommend though. But uniform city gives a 10% discount on most items.

No discount on their stethoscopes, certainly not the littmann. FYI I would not get a littmann from uniform city store, they are over priced. However, their online store has them for 149 (free shipping) vs store price172.

Hi everyone, I'm going to be at the South Shore campus starting in this spring. I was wondering if anyone is receiving emails from the program or teacher, who is in my class? I haven't gotten anything.
