OH and I am selling my scrubs too. I am 5'3 and the scrubs are x-small pants, and x-small and small tops. I had to get the pants hemmed cause they were too long! These should fit anyone around my height. 2 pants and 2 tops with the patches. Also 1 scrub jacket and shoes. I wear a size 8. I will sell it all for $80. Or individually. The shoes alone were $40. I also have the bandage scissors and pen light I will throw in there :)

Hi everyone! I haven't been reading what you guys have posted, but I am in NP1 Dale Mabry mornings. I have decided to withdraw from the program, for my own reasons. Just decided it wasn't for me. I have all my books, so if anyone is interested please let me know. I'm not sure how it works with the access codes and all that, but since I will probably be selling them without them I will sell my set for $250 I think I bought everything for $700. This includes the castillo workbook that I know Mrs. Richey for the Dale Mabry morning class requires. And this book alone is $60- and doesn't come in the set you buy from evolve. The books have some highlighting, and the castillo book has 2 assignments ripped out but I have them and can put them back. ALSO for anyone who has Mrs. Richey- I highlighted very important things for one of the tests. So that should be a BONUS! :) I am going to talk to the dean also and see if I can give my username and password as well so you can have the online books I paid for as well. Hello CRNAS!!! I am posting because I was thinking about going to CRNA school one day. By the time I finish I would probably be 31-32 and I would like to have my first baby probably right away. Are there part time jobs available for new mothers?? Is so, what are the hours like?? Also, for those of you who bought a house after landing a full time job- how did you handle the part time job salary after? INFO AND ADVICE APPRECIATED!!!! :)

Omg I totally forgot about my name badge. How long did it take fir you guys t get yours? The place reopens on Monday and I'm going to call them. Can someone PM me your phone number so I can text you and you can send me a pic of your badge? This way I can order a back up from a quicker place. Do they need to look a certain way? Does it only say our name?

Prof. Richey seems to take awhile to respond to emails, sadly. I forget the numbers but it's the infection control chapter and also Hygiene and vital signs. When is our calculation test suppose to be again? Nit the first week right?

How is everyone doing on the reading? I'm still reading the 3chapters out of the fundamentals of nursing book. Hoping to give myself a least a week before class starts to study just the calculations. Hey, DM morning classes - do we start our first day in lab on a TUESDAY or is our first day a class day on Thursday? I'm so confused on when our first day is lol

Where do we get the patches?? I need to get my whole uniform still!! Ugh so much to do.

Hey guys, I have one more docunent to scan today: confidentiality and security agreement.... The botton where we sign is confusing me: Employee/workforce member (i assume thats us lol) Facility name and COID (What is that? What do we write?) Business Entity Name (?? What do i put here) Also, when we created our order on certified profile it asked our classifocation and i just put not classified because it only showed nursing 2014 .. what did you guys put? Please answer ASAP so i can get this paper in! i waited till last minute.... grr

I'm uploading my stuff to certified this week. This sounds so dumb but how do I scan something the papers to the computer to upload them? I don't have a scanner at home and I have never done that before lol I'm not tech savy..... at all. I'm like an old woman. And how do we get a parking pass???????

I had Smith. I LOVE HER! She is the sweetest lady and really wants to help everyone. And she knows her stuff! Honestly, I never went to class for A&P1 and still got an A. I got 100% on every test besides one. The tests were EXACTLY the study guide. If you did that and knew the answers and basically memorized it, that was the test. Only one test was a little trickier: It was the third one I believe. A&P2 with her was harder. The study guides were helpful, but much more detailed and took a lot longer to do. The only way to get an A in that class was to pay attention to her powerpoints and also read them all at home and memorize the info on them. The tests were from those and the study guides. I got a B in that class. However, Smith is probably your best choice at HCC- for sure! Lab with her is also great. Her A&P1 lab was basically a powerpoint you MEMORIZE and do a test on. But I think she might have changed that class. A&P2 lab was basically just a quiz every class from the lab manual chapter she assigned. SO EASY. Just do the study guide she gives you, but definitely read the chapter to understand it. Because if not she will throw questions at you that weren't really in the study guide... but were easily read in the chapter. Hope that helps!

So do we just register for classes the same way we normally would? We only sign up for NP1? And no we don't need liability insurance. Does anyone know if the books are in yet?
