I have decided to start a thread for HCC future nurses that are applying for class beginning 2015 of spring. I would like us all to be able to share and relate to one another, while experiencing this exciting moment. I know it may seem a little early but better sooner then later. This will be my last semester before I can apply to the program. I am registered to take micro with lab and humanities fall 2014. I will be able to submit my application in right after my grades are posted. The deadline for the 2015 spring class is June 1st if I am not mistaken. How is everyone else holding up?

Omg I totally forgot about my name badge. How long did it take fir you guys t get yours? The place reopens on Monday and I'm going to call them. Can someone PM me your phone number so I can text you and you can send me a pic of your badge? This way I can order a back up from a quicker place. Do they need to look a certain way? Does it only say our name?

For the chapters 28 29 and 39 Coleman said to focus on certain pages, which isn't bad. I'm on chapter 29 right now. I'm skipping 28 because I have a diploma in surgical technology so I am very comfortable with sterile techniques and hygiene. I have read anything on calculations because it is material that will be needed for the 3rd week of school. I'm focusing on what I need right now. I do plan on skimming chapter 28 do refresh. But I will do that the night before class. My class starts on a clinical day. We will be on campus for 10 hours, in full uniform. I believe she said 630 to 430? I will double check emails tomorrow if no one knows for sure. We are less than 2 weeks away. How exciting.

Hey DM nights, someone left their really nice coffee mug yesterday in the women's bathroom, I grabbed it bc I know it belongs to someone in the class just can't remember who I saw with it. I'll bring it to clinical on Saturday, please let me know if it belongs to you.
