I thought I would start a thread for those of us applying to HCC's Spring 2013 nursing program. I am a Veterinary Technician/stay at home mom. I'm gathering everything for my application and hoping to drop it off at HCC soon. The deadline isn't until 6/1 but they recommend turning it in at least 30 days in advance. I'm a current HCC student. I was planning on applying for Fall this year, but am now expecting a little girl to arrive in July so spring it is! My pre-req GPA is 3.86 (all A's and 1 B), I'm hoping that this is good enough to get me a spot in the program for DM evening classes. Good luck to all!
Congrats everyone who got in!! :) I was expecting a rejection letter and I got it. They say my HS transcripts were not received by the deadline. So now time to appeal! And the wait continues

Woo hoo, I saw you have a 3.52 and since I do too but no letter yet, good news for me still! Hopefully official good news with a letter in hand for me on Monday! :)

You have no idea! I'm both jealous and slightly sad that I don't have a letter yet... However based on the stats what others have posted in here, in terms of GPA it appears I will not be denied which of course is fantastic news. It's just hard being patient when it's something you can't control! :)
