Hello all,

I thought I would start a thread for those of us applying to HCC's Spring 2013 nursing program. I am a Veterinary Technician/stay at home mom. I'm gathering everything for my application and hoping to drop it off at HCC soon. The deadline isn't until 6/1 but they recommend turning it in at least 30 days in advance. I'm a current HCC student. I was planning on applying for Fall this year, but am now expecting a little girl to arrive in July so spring it is! My pre-req GPA is 3.86 (all A's and 1 B), I'm hoping that this is good enough to get me a spot in the program for DM evening classes. Good luck to all!

Omg i got innnnn!!!!!! 3.6 gpa

Ah. I thought NW was the most popular? That leads me to believe AM periods are. Still... average 23 or so people per class * 6 sections = 138. Big group I think!

I was told at one point that between 150-180 get in between all the campus locations. Much better odds than PHCC with 36

Congrats!

Anyone else prefer Dale Mabry mornings? I don't know if I would travel to PC or SS since I live at the NW corner of Hillsborough county.

I love this part of these threads! I follow them like it's a movie, anxiously awaiting. lol. Congrats to all you guys! I'm waiting on my letter from Polk, next "door". ;) Our app period ended yesterday, and I got crazy nervous when I saw the mailman TODAY. Lord help me as the next two weeks stretch on...I'm going to be a mess. lol! Good luck to you all!

My 1st choice is DM am classes. Easier for me with kids and school. I live in Pasco in Wesley Chapel. I am thinking about Southshore am as #2 choice. I75 seems like less traffic issues than I4 (plant city)

Im waiting for my sister to tell me if Im in. I'm in WA right now omg. Congratulations to everyone that is in yeiiiiiii

yesssssss I'm innn 3.89 gpa, I'm so happyyy good luck to everybody.

My first choice is DM mornings second choice is DM afternoon. Hopefully i'll get my first choice since i live 15mns from that campus. I wonder if we have the option to switch campuses among ourselves?

Just found this thread! I got my acceptance letter today...GPA was 3.6. Looking forward to meeting my future classmates at orientation! Woooooo-hooooooo!!!!

I got in too! 3.87 pre-req GPA. Congrats everyone!

Congrats everyone who got in!! :) I was expecting a rejection letter and I got it. They say my HS transcripts were not received by the deadline. So now time to appeal! And the wait continues :(
