I thought I would start a thread for those of us applying to HCC's Spring 2013 nursing program. I am a Veterinary Technician/stay at home mom. I'm gathering everything for my application and hoping to drop it off at HCC soon. The deadline isn't until 6/1 but they recommend turning it in at least 30 days in advance. I'm a current HCC student. I was planning on applying for Fall this year, but am now expecting a little girl to arrive in July so spring it is! My pre-req GPA is 3.86 (all A's and 1 B), I'm hoping that this is good enough to get me a spot in the program for DM evening classes. Good luck to all!

Curious to start seeing what the "floor limit" of accepted folks is going to be.
Mine was 3.78. It's a pretty thick letter saying your were accepted and to complete the enclosed acceptance/campus assignment form and send back, and to then take another form to the Ybor City campus for our fingerprints taking.
I got in as an alternate I have a gpa of 3.42 and I am not gonna lie...I'm pretty upset right now. I know there are people that are not going to accept a seat and there are people that are not going to turn everything in on time, but I am so worried that I'm not going to get in as an alternate. And now, after a 4 month wait, I have to wait even longer to find out if I got in as an alternate! This is totally killing me!!!!!
