  1. I was told that the jacket was required by my friend who is in the program, I don't know if they changed their policies but she said that when we go into lab, we would need it. This may just be her teachers preference, so I would say wait until the first day of class and ask.
  2. Thanks lovebug88...I cannot get any messages from anyone so I am in the dark and of course everyone is on vacation until Jan so I really appreciate your response.
  3. The jacket is required for lab and port wine is the same as wine in Cherokee brands but in Koi it is not the same. As far as the shoes, they have to be all white-laces and shoes. My friend told me that Danskos are the best, but they also come with the "best" price ranging from 120 and up. I'm still trying to find shoes that are comfy and all white...no luck as yet. Good luck to you in the shoe hunt.
  4. Does anyone know if the evening professor at DM has posted anything or sent any emails? I do not have access to blackboard. Thanks for any information that you may have.
  5. Idk if anyone has heard this, but I called the nursing department and the lady with whom I spoke said that alternates can hear back after orientation. It all depends on where u r on the "list". This saddens my heart...
  6. This is too suspenseful! I wish they would let us know considering that orientation is coming up...
  7. Is it safe to say that HCC is not taking alternates this year?
  8. My GPA was a 3.3...I thought it was a 3.5, but when I checked, it said 3.3...
  9. If it is in my favor, I live in Wesley Chapel off CL as well, so if I do get in, we can all carpool! But I know that the evenings are hard to come by. At this point, I will be happy with any spot...ALTHOUGH I really want evenings.
  10. I got an alternate seat. I live in Wesley Chapel and I am hoping for an evening slot if God sees that I get placed! Congrats to all the ladies who got in!!!!! Great work!
  11. They notify you that your documents are received in July, decisions are given sometime in October.
  12. That a girl!!!! KikB do you have my receipt for my KOI bottoms?
  13. She didn't really say or give a timeframe. I know she told KikB that she would email people individually I believe by next week. Also, in regards to setting up a study group, you can just send a mass email on HCC campus cruiser because you are all assigned a specific campus and you have access to those DM evening people. Enjoy your studies guys and good luck!!!
  14. Yea unfortunately I was not able to switch. The people that did switch were able to arrange an even swap with another person (to my understanding). The others most likely will get switched because there was an error with GPA's. Some people who had 4.0 and a little lower did not get their first choice so that issue has to be fixed...the odds are not in my favor. It was nice meeting all of you and good luck with ur future nursing endeavors!!! :)
