Hello all HCC Fall 2011 hopefuls! I have been following the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 threads and thought maybe it was time to start Fall 2011 now that the application process has started.
I just turned my application in this past week and received my confirmation notice in the mail. Anyone else out there that has turned in their application?
What are your plans over the next 8 months to prepare for the first semester (provided we get in)?

Not happy about the boyfriend. We lived together in a house that he bought for us, which means I'll be moving. He's giving me time but I'm pretty depressed and doubt I'll be motivated to move for 2 months.

Leave everything to God, Eyoung! and just have some faith again that everything is going to be O.K. I went to work, that's why i didn't post anything yet. By the way, how much the background costs you from that website HCC provided?
Hey kikilynn! Looking forward to meeting you! I checked out the registration and it looks like there are only 20 students assigned to that campus. Have you visited it? Do you know what it's like? I stopped by when I registered for A&P II, but I took that class at the Brandon campus.
Clemso, thank you and I will continue to pray. Praying is the only thing that calms me down. Each time I think about Alex ending our year long relationship, I start tearing up. I really thought he was my night in shining armor. He was SO great with my son (who has asked too many times, "where's Alex?" in the last 24 hours). Luckily, my son is with his father today, so I can tear up all I want. I'm getting better. I just dislike looking around for housing. My price range is nothing now that I'll be in school. Thankfully, my parents will be helping me financially, so I won't be living in a dump. I was going to move in with my parents, but they're going to finance a house for me. Plus, Alex said to take my time in finding a house, so I WILL BE taking my sweet time. Seriously, he was the one who wanted me to move in, and he's the one who changed his mind. I think he owes my all the time in the world to find a house that makes my son and me happy.
SOOOO sorry to be a debbie downer. I promise to get excited about nursing school again in the next few days.
I have not yet been there, but I have a friend who started there last semester and just loves it. She gets along with her professors great. I live in riverview, so itis so much closer than any of the other campuses. I am excited!!
I have a question. A friend of mine received her campus assignment but it only states Plant City campus, there is no specification of day or night program??? Can someone please tell me what your letters say as far as day/ night/weekend program??? We are a little confused here.

I'm wondering if you get assigned the time slot you selected but the campus is what was to be decided. I was thinking perhaps they think you can drive to a different campus but if your life schedule (job, family, etc.) require you to be in school days or nights, that's not as easy to change. Just a thought. Did you select days or nights & weekends??
A friend of mine, who was an alternate, received her acceptance letter today. Congratulations to all!
I'm a little confused because my letter says that I've been assigned to the Dale Mabry campus (which is what I wanted), but the Confirmation Form is for the South Shore Campus! (?) Hopefully this was a mistake. I'm also confused about the $35. I already sent a check with the last Confirmation Form back in March. I guess I'm going to have to send another email...

Mine specifically said Plant City Nights and Weekend program on the return confirmation form, however the instructions letter said Plant City NW Campus. So I aasume the NW part means Nights/Weekend........
