Hello all HCC Fall 2011 hopefuls! I have been following the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 threads and thought maybe it was time to start Fall 2011 now that the application process has started.
I just turned my application in this past week and received my confirmation notice in the mail. Anyone else out there that has turned in their application?
What are your plans over the next 8 months to prepare for the first semester (provided we get in)?
I got a call back from MF, she said she researched the situation and found my letter ON THE TOP of the stack of conformation letters, that's right, ON THE TOP. However, SOMEHOW it didn't get marked and entered as received.....hmmmmm.....She said she is mailing me a campus assignment letter today. Now, I just hope that their mistake doesn't affect whether or not I get the campus and time that I originally chose. :/
No. My letter assigns me to the Dale Mabry campus, but it doesn't specify days or nights. I sure hope it's for days, since nights would probably be impossible for me! For those of you who received something that specified days/nights, was it on the letter or the confirmation form? Because my acceptance form had the wrong campus (Southshore instead of DM), I'm wondering if I had received the correct confirmation form if it would have specified days...(???)

Thanks mrsgood. I hope you get the campus you requested (Plant City, right?) I hoped it was DM days for me, but the letter didn't say "days". It's sure nice of them to let us figure it out on our own like this!

I am new here but think it is really awesome that there is a forum like this. To be able to meet people going through the same things. I also was accepted into the fall nursing program. I did get the campus assignment for Dale Mabry but the confirmation letter says South Shore?? Not sure what to do about that yet. I emailed someone from the nursing dept and they said that I didn't have to send another $35 but didn't answer my question about the campus confusion? Anyone else have to do a degree audit?
Hey Everyone, I had a couple of minutes and thought I would let you know that I'm currently a NP1 @ DM. We have one more test and a presentation next week and a final the following. I wanted to be of any assistance so post any questions. I might not be back on until after May 6th, but I plan to help you guys thru the summer if you want. It is very grueling but very rewarding.

Are any of you taking summer classes? I'm taking Statistics @DM. I don't know what I got my self into. There is no summer break for me (( I took Nutrition and Developmental psychology this spring. I'm DONE with USF prerequisites. I hope my plans go well and I get into RN-MS program ater 2 years. I'm no where ready for my nursing classes ( My dream is to be an ARNP. I guess I won't be going to Adventure Island this year.
