Hello all HCC Fall 2011 hopefuls! I have been following the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 threads and thought maybe it was time to start Fall 2011 now that the application process has started.
I just turned my application in this past week and received my confirmation notice in the mail. Anyone else out there that has turned in their application?
What are your plans over the next 8 months to prepare for the first semester (provided we get in)?
Thanks for the info on the campus...I was pretty sure I wasn't the only one that happen too. I am also taking stats this summer but I am doing it online with the Plant City Campus (this is the only one I could get online)....I agree No Adventure Island for me this summer (although I say that but will probably HAVE to squeeze it) My 6 year old daughter is dying to go there.....
Hey Clemso, just received my background check back. Glad to see I'm still not a predator or criminal. It took about 48 hours (two business days) for them to complete it.
Does anyone know how I can confirm that HCC received the report and my seat confirmation? Thank you!!

I don't like the idea of mailing anything to H.C.C, i will go to H.C.C as usual on Monday to drop my acceptance letter. You know something Eyoung, i was a student at Palm Beach Community College and later transfer to USF. I only sent HCC my Palm Beach Community College transcript and never sent my USF transcript to HCC, will they be able to see that when i do the background check?
That's why i'm kind like afraid and not yet done my background check. According to the Nursing application, i was supposed to send HCC all my college transcripts but i only sent HCC one of my college transcripts.
Clemso, have no fear, I was worried about my sexual predators charges, but they didn't find those! And that was a total joke. I haven't even had a speeding ticket in the past 10 years. No, seriously, they only check to see if you are a convicted felon or have an arrest record.
They list all of your addresses and nothing about colleges.

That's kind like relieve, i'm a good a man who always follows the law, Eyoung, lol. I was concerned for not sending all my college transcripts to HCC, that's all.
Clemso, I think the only they could see that you went to USC would be if you sent your USC transcript to the community college and then sent the comment college's transcript to HCC. They would have already states that you're missing transcripts, so again, I think you're good to go!

I graduate from pbcc too....don't have to worried about that, they will not see that in the criminal background check. They only check for criminal activities lol

Thanks Stephanie, and i'm glad you were a PBCC student and now i believe the name change to Palm Beach State College. It's fine with me if they only check for criminal activities, i thought they check for everything, like credit history, schools etc. which campus did HCC assign you Stephanie? I'm going to Plant City daytime. Am i the only male going to Plant City day time?
