Had a kid present with eye irritation & redness x3 days. He thought it might be a wood chip. Nope, it was a deer tick embedded in his eye, just lateral of the pupil. Sent to the opthamologist that day for extraction. Gotta love those zebras. Next......

Aug 22, 2011 in that same vein...had a man come in who had been working under his home, renovating - very very old home. Came in with "rash" - turned out there were WELL over 100 ticks all over him. So small they appeared as freckles, until closer inspection revealed these freckles had legs that were wiggling....A W E S O M E.Not so much.

Aug 22, 2011 When my husband was at home he, his dad, and brother use to coon hunt a lot.....his mom said they would have deer ticks all over them....she would have them shower using Rid....the head lice stuff.....worked for them!
