Noticeable that these were introduced first,  instead of cabinet , to assure the world competence back in US government IMHO.  Karen

Not everyone is happy.  But it's a bit refreshing that so far his picks aren't the most offensive unqualified people he could find, but rather people with experience and expertise, as well as diversity.

Pa. Health Secretary  Dr. Rachel Levine (prior served as Pediatrician at Hershey Medical Center, created their adolescent medicine division and eating disorders clinic) tapped to be Biden’s assistant secretary for health at HHS, a role that would make her the first openly transgender federal official.  She  will replace Admiral Brett P. Giroir if congress approves appointment.  I've been impressed with her calm demeanor dealing with the press and PA Republicans, providing education and championing COVID restrictions as needed to protect states 9 million+ residents -- PA hospitals handled second surge without being overwhelmed like California.

Xavier Becerra is narrowly (by 1 vote) approved to become the next secretary of HHS. 

Republicans criticized him for not having a health care background, even though as a member of Congress he worked on several pieces of legislation; being  "an aggressive culture warrior from the radical left" (what ever that means); and his views on abortion. 

What ever happened to the concept that a President could choose his cabinet?

Senate confirms William Burns to be next CIA director after Cruz lifts hold

And I forgot, a big w00t, w00t to Deb Haaland being approved as the first Native American secretary of the Interior.
