Hi there.. I hope someone could enlighten me with this..
I recently passed the NCLEX RN CA and will be taking the IELTS real soon. I'm in the Philippines and I don't have an SSN. Thus, I was informed that they cannot issue me my license. Add to that, they would destroy my file 3 years without their receipt of my SSN.
I don't have any idea on what to do next. How do I get this SSN? Am aware that they cannot issue me SSN since I'm not a US citizen nor have I ways to go there. Should I just find an agency to do all the works for me or should I apply for my visa screen? Cause I was thinking of applying for my visa screen first before I find my agency plus I will be starting work only only next month.
Can someone tell me the process of how to get a visa screen? The steps and who to contact, through the internet perhaps. I really have no idea how to do it.
Another thing is my family's suggesting to transfer my license to another state..Again, how do I go about it? Is my license needed before I can apply for reciprocity..I was thinking maybe NY, Florida or Chicago.

You have no license to endorse so need to apply by examination and get Ca to forward your NCLEX results. Also need to meet state requirements for foreign trained nurse

No. You have no license to endorse. Complete requirements of foreign trained nurse, complete forms for examination and then arrange with California, for a small fee $60, to forward your NCLEX results to the new state

If it is written that they will accept English (which it is ) then you shouldn't have to submit English exam results. However you still need to do the English exam for visa screen certificate. If you have already done and passed English exam then there is no reason why you don't submit it
You just need CES doing, I know you can go to another eval service but using CES means they can also use your stuff for VSC. VSC is required if you are looking for a work visa yourself, if getting visa another route ie marrying a US citizen then you do not need VSC
just to make it clear. so i can do the CES for the mean time just to get my license and then use my CES to get a visa screen so that i can work? I know i can go directly to get VS but i just want to know if i can get my license by having only my CES.
