Hello! Who Is Taking Their Nclex Exam End Of July

Published

I was wondering if there is anybody taking their Nclex Exam at the end of July and would like to be held accountable in making sure that they complete a set amount of question per day? I would like for us to login/check into the forum every day if posssible to say that you have completed your questions for that day.

I struggle with doing at least 100 questions a day! I am hoping that there is another person who could benefit from being held accountable.

Thanks in advance!

Hello there!

Well, I test on the 16th. but that might change to a latter date, as I'm feeling so wrecked and scared that I'm not prepared enough to face the 'monster'. But yeah, I will like to join this..altho I can't promise to do a 100 per day. Since my probable test date is around the corner, I'm still focused on studying content (Arrghhh!) and don't have the time to do a lot of question..that's very bad right?

Ohh..sorry for my rambling..I'm just nervous :uhoh21:

I changed my date to July 28th because of feeling that I'm not ready! I totally understand having fear. I have that same fear. I just threw the (question) number 100 out there. I think any number will be good......I was thinking being held accountable would be helpful!

Let me know what you think!

what are your scores on kaplan? are they low?

I'm up for it! I love this idea.....it will motivate me to study lol

me too, i test in early august, so ill join!

i did over 100 q's today

what resources and books is everyone using to study and do questions from?

pls, i would like to join.

i just change my test date to ending of this july.

which book is everyone using to study and answer questions from?

I take mine on the 27th of july, i dont mind joining you on this as i also have a hard time doing up to 100 questions a day. i took the kaplan question trainer test 1 yesterday and i made 47%:(. i am yet to study content on OB and Peds though but still thats a very low score.

Hi,

I just scheduled mine for July 17th! I did the virtual ATI course and got the "Green light" to test. I also purchased the 2012-2013 Kaplan NCLEX-RN Strategies, Practice, and Review. This has been an amazing book so far, I highly recommend it. It's only about $20 at Barnes and Noble.

Im doing the NCLEX-PN on July 20. I could use some motivation to study for sure. I have been using the Saunders disc and have done about 600 questions so far. Im doing pretty well but Im getting irritated. The disc says it has 3700 questions on it and Im getting some of the same questions 2 or 3 times. What gives? This is wasting my time and Im about to just buy the Kaplan question bank.

I'd like to join in too. I'm hoping to take the NCLEX-PN before I graduate which is August 2nd. I'm just waiting for my ATT letter. So I'm planning to study as if my test date is the last day of July, so that I will stay on track. I did 150 questions today in school. It was Lippincott. I'm going to do some more questions today, maybe 50 to 100. But I'm definitely up to doing at least 100 questions a day. What I'm using is Lippincott's Review, Exam Cram, NCSBN-RN (this was sent to me by another member, Tashy Mary Kay, who just recently past the NCLEX-RN) and I'm waiting for the Green Saunder's book to become available from the library (I'm so broke and I can't afford to buy another book :bluecry1:). Does anybody have any other suggestions?

I'm taking Nclex on July 17...for review materials I have 2011-2012 Kaplan NCLEX Rn strategies, practice and review, Mosby's nclex-rn review made incredibly easy, saunders q & a 4th edition and I'm also doing nclex 4000. Also, I keep surfing this site for mnemonics and some other tips in studying.
