Hell has no fury like an RN scorned.(ER)

Was that a new episode I watched tonight? I am not a big ER fan. All told I have maybe watched 10 episodes in all these years. I think this entire episode was a response to the letter writing campaign, you know the one protesting the second class status of nurses on the show. The statement I made in the subject line is a quote of a statement made by one of the unit secretaries on the show, not Jerry, the other one. I think they tipped their hat to nurses on this episode for sure. PS that new guy Cooper is really cute. PPS Did you see that arrogant b**tard steriotypical surgeon? PPPS I knew that guy with a backache would turn out to be a leaking AAA.

Pretty sure it was a rerun... I looked at the little description box and it said that it was the one about John sending Abby a "dear john" letter and the guy (as you said, not jerry) passing it around to everyone at work to read... by the end of the show, everyone has had a chance to read it except Abby who has been too busy nursing. Anyway, this show has to be nine months old. Abby is now back in medical school and doing her rotation in ER and working as a nurse at the sametime.

Is this the one where the new charge nurse rips off Romano's prosthesis? And Dr. Lewis locks it up in the women's restroom, I believe. If that's the one, it's from the beginning of the season. I noticed West Wing was a re-run last night.

It's only 8:35 out here, so haven't had ER yet.

It was a re-run. Romano is still alive he died right before Christmas. Shame I loved to hate him. Shoulda killed off Kerry.

No its the one where he gets the first prothesis (the Cap'n Hook one).

BTW, what is a triple A?

AAA (triple A)

Hopefully it is not leaking, or leaking very little. We had a 52 y/o that blew in the ER right after CT. On the table within 10 minutes, Level 1 pumping fluids the whole way to OR. By the time he was done he had received 57 units of blood products and lots of expanders. Had the Highway Patrol coming from all over the state with blood.

He lived, came back and thanked us all (each one of us in person), All the docs, nurses, techs and the clerk that was working that day. He fully understood the teamwork responsible for saving his life.

I missed the episode where Romano dies!! I haven't figured out what happened to him. What happened?

well, Romano has really bad luck with helicopters. 1st his arm was cut off by a helicopters blade, then he died by a care flight helicopter crashing and landing right on top of him. I agree, they should have killed off Kerry.

Wow!!!

That is so amazing that he lived. 57 units!!! I'm glad he came back and thanked y'all. I think I'd be ballin' like a baby. My friend survived an aneurysm in her spleen. Unfortunately, her unborn child did not (watched baby die on the monitors). It was a nightmare. She now has a healthy baby girl which is such a blessing. She named the baby that died, Faith.

I LMAO when Abby got the answer right and the surgeon said to the residents "you've just been nurse-slapped"

:chuckle

I believe this was the second episode from this season (the first one was Carter saving Luka, and deciding to stay in the congo)

I find it hard to believe that people watch this show.

Well, it's a soap opera, really. We don't watch it for the medical accuracy!

My affinity for this program melted at the beginning of this season. Does anyone else remember "Wonder Nurse" jumping on top of that guy and giving him the IV injection in the neck? What a farce.
