Greetings. Deb is going to put a sticky on this thread and eventually delete the other.

This is the thread where members come to share their journey to wellness and wholeness.

It's a holistic thread, talking about all apects of health, not just diet and exercise, but the mind and spirit as well. All posters are welcome (not just Premium Members) and encouraged on a periodic basis to share what you're doing, what you need to do and how you're going to do it, and what you know!

PS Roy, don't feel bad, I can't even run around the block any more, and I used to run every day (MANY years ago!)

Last night in Chester we had a marvelous dinner at a new little mexican restaurant - with the really good refried beans that I suspect are fried in lard. :rolleyes: This morning I had a white chocolate mocha. I did do a fair amount of walking though - and we took a walk tonight. Ate two chicken tacos filled with lettuce and tomatoes.

I dunno Tweety - do you really want me posting on this thread while I'm premenstrual???? I'm full and all I can think of is carbs . .

I seriously have to jog in the morning.

Steph. if you're stuggling then you're just like the rest of us and yes, please continue to post here. Makes me feel I'm not alone. LOL You know being a vegetarian I eat a lot of carbs. I love carbs. :)

I made some great tabouli and have been munching that for a few days. Great carbs there. :)

I'm going to the gym today. I seriously need it for some stress relief.

I was naughty today--had a slice of heathbar crunch chocolate cake:nono:

It was lovely and worth being naughty:devil:

I am now back to my angelic self:saint::saint:, so back to the Mediterranean

Diet tomorrow.

My spouse and I may join a 2 year hospital/university study

on weight and health issues.

When I realized I would have to be accountable and good all the

time, I pounced on the chocolate cake.

Hi jahra, glad you're back to your angelic self.

I got depressed today because I was going to the theater and put on some pants I used to could wear and they were too tight and I had one nice pair of pants that fit my fat self. :(

I'm trying to be good, but I might have to go back on the diet and loose these stubborn five to ten pounds so I'll feel better about myself and fit into my clothes.

Woke up kind of blah today (see my blog) and tired from some insomnia. I didn't go to yoga as I planned. But have been eating well. It's tough to muster up the energy to workout when tired, stressed and depressed.

Please take care of yourself and stay strong. Keep eating well and

try to get some rest. If you are not up for yoga, try listening to some music

that you enjoy. When you are ready, you can do some yoga

postures at home. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers,

and wishing you peace and harmony....
