Hi everybody - goodness, I didn't think I had been gone long, but the posts seem to say otherwise. That is a great thing!

My babysitter's hubby has been in the hospital, so I have been home with my kiddos. It has been so good for me! I feel revived! I am sticking with my diet and had a big salad with some cottage cheese for lunch! I managed to avoid the cupcakes in the break room and even the roll of sweet tarts (one of my favorites) that a co-worker offered to me - WooHoo!!!

I wasn't happy when I got on the scales today, so the answer of course is to stay away from the scales.

I felt better today and went to the gym this AM and worked out fairly good, with 40 minutes of aeorbics.

I made a very good curried lentil last night from my "Garden of Vegan" cookbook. I love to cook like that from scratch, following a new recipe I haven't tried before, but sometimes life gets in the way with work/school/blah blah blah.

That sounds good Tweety - glad you rallied around and went to the gym, that always makes one feel better! I walked to the hospital at lunch instead of drove and it made me feel much better - it is a pretty day outside here today!

Back to dance classes! Took a fast paced Zumba class last night.

It was fun, and loved the Latin music.

This morning took a Nia dance class with a yoga cool down.

Had hummus,tabouli, jedra, and spinach for lunch.

Walked by a chocolate bar and didn't miss it (a milestone for me).

The work/school grind has been a bit busy and I've not been healthy in body, mind or spirit. But that's what days off are for, to regroup and refresh.
