You know you've had a busy day when you get home and realize that you've LITERALLY walked holes through your socks!!
Has this happened to anyone else out there?
I've done it several times now. Maybe I need to invest in better socks . . .

Yep, I've done it several times with several brands of shoes and socks. I think that there are simply days when our feet just don't get any kind of break!

Yep. I like thin ankle socks so I definitely put a beating on them. When I show them to my husband he starts singing "another one bites the dust"

LOL! Yes, and I have to replace my supply of Crocs every 3 months too, or my feet are killing me!!
Makes sense though. I'm on my feet walking, turning, squatting and running for 8-10 hours, 3-4 days a week. The feet, socks and shoes all take a beating!!

I hand-knit my own socks, and yes I've walked holes in a pair or two. Now THAT'S a bummer.

Ha , thats's funny. Yup , I have. The triage nurse put on a pedometer and it read 8 mi. in a 12 hr shift. I'm just waiting to walk through my skin , right down to the bone. But, won't matter, as long as I keep those pres - gainy scores.

Okay - YOU WIN.
If I had to knit my own socks - my feet would be bare!
In reality, I wear the gold toe cushion cotton crews - about $16 for 3 pairs - but they do seem to stand up well. I do like the thin ones, they just don't feel too good with 6" boots.
Practice SAFE!

I would invest in good socks, but then i'd feel like i flush money down the pot if the good socks got blood on them or something.
