Because I do, and it makes me a better student I think lol! I just want to impress him and get an A! He is gorgeous beyond gorgeous, and every woman in our class (and probably some guys as well) loves him.

What is it about hot teachers??!

We had one who was known for carrying on with his students. Eventually he threw over his wife for one of his students and according to the school gossip, he continued carrying on with students other than his wife. He wasn't even that good looking.

This teacher is not at all inappropriate or disrespectful (as far as I know at least, I dont know his life story), and most of us are married or in relationships, he's just fun to have teaching us!

ITA -- having a (simple, harmless) crush on a professor is like a little bonus that improves your motivation and makes the course a seem a little easier and more fun (always has for me, anyway) -- like the "Mary Poppins" song; "a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down ..." :)

Your post made me giggle. I don't have any gorgeous professors right now, but I have in the past and oh man. It definitely gives you the drive to impress and do well! Talk about motivation ;)

In eighth grade our English teacher was an improvement on Paul Newman when he was young. He always had the undivided attention of the girls in the class. Even today, almost 45 years later, I can still remember those deep, blue eyes! And we loved to make him blush! Oh, this is too much!

My english 102 teacher was such a dreamboat and I worked so hard in that class just for him. It wasn't even that he was JUST good looking, he was so smart and charismatic and made the class enjoyable. One time he was reviewing one of my papers with me and said that I was a "star".. I swooned. hahaha

Not so far, but my A&P teacher is cute in a goofy sort of way. He is so funny and animated when he explains things, but it doesnt distract me from class.
