Thinking of you today as you leap over this final hurdle!! I am so proud of you. :)

What time did you test yesterday? *hugs* Hang in there ... I know how much the waiting can mess with your head. I was a wreck from Wednesday evening after getting home from my test until the Virginia BON posted my license info that Friday morning. Thursday was a total wasted day for me -- I didn't do much but obsessively reload the database. The only other person with my last name had a first name that looked like "suck many," so at least I laughed. A little. Ha ha.

From what I've seen, even with TX, it is about 48 hrs. I would think your BON would have a license number in the AM. Mine, since it was the weekend when the 48 hrs was up, did not appear until that Mon but I had paid Pearson for unofficial results because I couldn't wait. You should have less than a day left of wondering!

i tested at 10:30am . im sure i have failed i mean why would they remove my gn status expect for failure...ive been reading over on the nclex discussion board ...that thread about the pearson vue trick you know if you can re-register after your test then that is a sure sign you failed but if it stops you then you passed...i thought huh maybe so i tried that ..oh yeah it lets me re-register and it will allow me to pay again..nothing is in my favor here....

Calm. Down. If TX has quick results you will know tomorrow. We might ebe waving pom poms, we might be giving you cyber hugs. But calm. down.

can you use a debit card? just enter the number and say it is a credit card. that's what i did to get my quick results. unofficial quick results are ready exactly 48 (busness day) hours (2 business days) after the scheduled start time of the test.

went through the same thing you did ------- stop worrying. it is only the ones that are sure they passed that fail it.

i really think that the way they do the results is meant to torture us.

i am confident that you passed that thing.

fyi:via the web ($7.95) - go to http://www.pearsonvue.com/nclex, sign in with your user name and password. after logging in, you will see your current activity. under recent appointments, find the row with your current test, go to "status" and double click on "quick results" link. if your results are available, a credit card payment page will display. fill in the payment information, click on the continue button, and a confirmation page will display. click only once on the confirm order button, and your exam results will appear. in order to receive your results, you must provide a credit card number to which the $7.95 charge can be billed. (please note: your credit card will only be charged if your results are available.)

via the phone ($9.95) - call the nclex quick results line at 1.900.776.2539 (1.900.77.nclex). please note that this is a 900 number and not an 800 number. this service will be available 24 hours a day. the $9.95 fee will appear on your local telephone bill under "nclex test."

(please be aware: when you use the nclex quick results line, you will not be charged if your results are not yet available. however, once your results are available, if you call more than once, you will be charged for each call.)

everything is in your favor: your husband, your children, your friends, your faith, your courage. you kicked the cpnes ass. do you hear me? kicked its ass. this is no big deal. pull yourself up, stand up straight, and go on about your business. you have survived worse. fail, pass, whatever. take it again if need be. this stuff is hard, and that is what makes being a nurse special. you are special. your family knows it. we know it. time for you to know it.

In the middle of the page in caps, it says, "Neither system (PearsonVue or the BON) will inform the caller about failure to pass the examination; therefore, absence of the GVN or GN on the applicable registry means only that a license has not been issued as of the date of inquiry. IT DOES NOT NECESSARILY MEAN THAT THE GVN or GN HAS FAILED THE LICENSURE EXAM."

I don't know if the absence of the GVN or GN part means absence of the person who is a GVN or GN or if it means absence of the title GVN or GN (like you). Anyway, I have much hope for you tomorrow.
