School Nursing is AWESOME ! Even if no one understands us......we all surely do !

Happy Belated School Nurse Day! I took the day off yesterday, so I'm late in sending this most heartfelt thanks to all of you on this forum. Its been a heck of a year for me, your support and words of wisdom have helped me more than I could ever express.

Even though we dont "work together" I feel you are my colleagues. School Nurse's are a unique breed, Im proud to be a part of such a fantastic group of humans!!!!!

Got a cute big homemade card from the teacher and paraprofessionals on our behavioral unit.

The teacher wrote "We love all you do for us. I'm so glad we have a nurse that is not scared of the students in (unit name)."

I am sitting here trying not to cry. I can't imagine what the teacher was used to before she came here....
