Hey guys, anyone else applying to the CNL program at Augusta University ( previously known as GRU)? I am going to be applying and if admitted I think I would prefer to make my move a few months post acceptance. I have 2 bachelors and my passion is with Psychiatric Mental health but I really don't want another Bachelors so the CNL seems just fine to have under my belt until I maneuver into a DNP program. It all sounds so pricey but in the end I believe it will be worth the while. I know I am early but hopefully others are interested. My scores aren't great but I saw people with similar scores with acceptance so lets just pray. I have great grades it is just one school gave me F's instead of W's when I withdrew in 2008 and I have had hell getting it off my record but it has no bearing on my gpa it is still "good" just not where it could be without 4-5 F's.
Thank you, no I don't but I am trying to decide which campus to make my first choice. I actually live outside Georgia. My Perequisite are done am just stuck with the MAT.. planning to take it next month. GRE did not work out for me. The maths threw me off. I actually did not apply yet but will do this fall. I want to make sure am done with everything and also the moving stress etc. thanks
@trichick-I appreciate the heads up regarding time management and will budget my time accordingly. Remind me again, are you going to be CNL Augusta campus? Once again, congratulations!!@enny-
The address for the Athens campus is 1905 Barnett Shoals Road Athens, GA 30605. Based on google maps, the campuses are about 103 miles apart & will take ~2 hours to reach the Augusta Campus from Athens. Do you have an interview coming up, @enny?
I will be at the Augusta campus:)

Enny, I will tell you that the Augusta campus accepts about 80 last time I checked, whereas the Athens campus accepts about half that and is a little harder to snag a spot at. I'm not sure if that info helps:)
Hello guys, I am really trying to make up my mind on which campus to go, since I will be relocating to Georgia am not sure how the neighborhoods are for both campuses. I read the reviews for Augusta and honestly it is really scary, please how is the neighborhood for Athens and which neighborhood is best to look into.? Thx guys! I plan on coming down to check the apartments out in April but I want to make sure I know which one is best for me.
I am relocating as well and I am choosing Augusta as my first choice. I have heard that Martinez and Evans which are on the outskirts of Augusta are all good neighborhoods. As far as neighborhoods in Augusta it can be tricky which neighborhoods are safe. There are some bad parts and some good parts.
Both Martinez and Evans are nice areas. I will allot a bit of time to get to class (probably about 45mins including parking). That being said, it is very safe in my area! If anyone has questions about neighborhoods or apartment complexes let me know, I've lived here for about 9 years now.
