GRU / Augusta University MSN CNL Fall 2017

Hey guys, anyone else applying to the CNL program at Augusta University ( previously known as GRU)? I am going to be applying and if admitted I think I would prefer to make my move a few months post acceptance. I have 2 bachelors and my passion is with Psychiatric Mental health but I really don't want another Bachelors so the CNL seems just fine to have under my belt until I maneuver into a DNP program. It all sounds so pricey but in the end I believe it will be worth the while. I know I am early but hopefully others are interested. My scores aren't great but I saw people with similar scores with acceptance so lets just pray. I have great grades it is just one school gave me F's instead of W's when I withdrew in 2008 and I have had hell getting it off my record but it has no bearing on my gpa it is still "good" just not where it could be without 4-5 F's.

what are you stats (gpa, gre/mat, experience) if you don't mind saying?

I have a 3.56 overall gpa and a 3.79 in prerequisites. I got a 294 on the gre. As far as experience I do not have much health care experience. I have my degree in secondary education. I worked with children with autism doing in home early intervention. I'm hoping my lack of experience in the health field will not effect my decision. I live in Boston and am planning on moving as soon as I find out my decision. I've been checking my email almost every hour! What are your stats, experience etc?

@trichick-I appreciate the heads up regarding time management and will budget my time accordingly. Remind me again, are you going to be CNL Augusta campus? Once again, congratulations!!

The address for the Athens campus is 1905 Barnett Shoals Road Athens, GA 30605. Based on google maps, the campuses are about 103 miles apart & will take ~2 hours to reach the Augusta Campus from Athens. Do you have an interview coming up, @enny?

Thank you for the info! I have checked and it said incomplete so email Emily. She stated that the web status is not up to date. I believe the con calendar about bac meeting is about how they decide the interview and admission .

Wow!! Am sorry to intrude but am glad someone else is moving just like me. I did not get a response yet, but anyone knows the address to the Athens campus and the distance from the Augusta campus.? Thanks!!
