  1. I ended up finding some scrubs that work. @mimibrown , I do purchase different sized tops and bottoms but the tops themselves don't fit well because the part that comes over my hips is too tight if I buy a size that fits my shoulders. @Ruby Vee , I wish I could sew! That would make this whole situation so much easier. Seems like most the styles these days are super fitted, but I was able to find a comfy pair that was stretchy and straight sided, not fitted. They are not A-line like I hoped but they fit well and are very comfortable. Here is the link: https://www.allheart.com/p/p/wkc12110/ I've worn them to work for one week and are loving them.
  2. I live in the middle of nowhere so I can't just run down to the uniform store and try on all the different styles. I a hippy gal and my hips are one entire size larger than my shoulders. I would love to find an A-line scrub top, but noting pops up in any of my google searches. Is there anyone out there who is pear-shaped and has trouble finding tops? Please include a link to a style.
  3. We have 4 classes each semester and clinical days. Our schedule this semester is very similar to last semester except we have no open lab on Fridays and extra clinical days. I would only use our current schedule as a guideline because I hear that they may be changing the schedule around a bit.
  4. I can speak about the Athens campus. Our schedule for fall semester went like this: Monday: Skills lab 8am - 5pm Thursday: Class 9am - 4pm Friday: Optional open lab hours 9am - 1pm Then we were assigned one clinical day from 6:30am - 3pm on either Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday.
  5. Did you guys apply for student loans? Because the Department of Education will do a hard inquiry.
  6. Thanks for being the voice of reason @FutureNurseEmilyP198
  7. I am jumping in late and starting my application today. A quick question - are you guys using a specific format for your CV? Nursing school is a second career for me so I am worried about the length of my CV and trying to figure out how to highlight the pertinent information. What did you guys do?
  8. Good luck to everyone interviewing today!
  9. Just got my mail . . . I'm in!!! FWIW - I've been freaking out b/c there was never any appearance of the background check consent form under required docs on the status update page. I guess that was not an indicator. Freaked out for nothing!
  10. No letter yet over here. Based on past posts, I expect it would take ~ 1 week from the day the status changes. Might be longer since Monday was a holiday.
  11. Thanks for the supportive words @TriChick - I've been pretty bummed. I guess I will know in a few days. I'll be camped out by the mailbox until I know.
  12. @mt03997 - yay! I hope you your letter is good news. My application status page does not say anything about a background consent form so that makes me feel a little anxious. We shall see. @jennyrae1988 - my page displayed an error for a few hours before my status changed. Must be due to the update.
  13. Enny - see jjm1228's message.
  14. Guys - this morning my status changed!! "Decision made by Admissions Committee; notification is by mail"
  15. While we anxiously wait, can I ask you all a question? Did anyone take an online Micro class? I've taken most of my pre-reqs at Athens Tech but their summer Micro class doesn't jive with my work schedule. Looking for alternatives. Anyone?
