Howdy all, I bit the bullet and after much research, I decided on Grand Canyon! Wow, I did not expect BSN schools to be like used car salesmen--hounding me by emails and phone calls. Rather impressed on how Grand Canyon sort of left me alone, but at the same time kept in touch.

Commence my first class Sept 30th, excited, yet very nervous, as I'm not a big fan of school, LOL! I did extremely well on my Associate degree, graduated back in 2009 from Northern Virginia Community College. We shall see.

Would love to hear from past and present Grand Canyon RN to BSN students.

she is sorry but she has a job and will get to her part on the weekend! WTH? A lot of us have jobs and kids and lives too and we manage.

See this just gets under my skin. I have just as busy of a life as everyone else and I figure out how to get my work done usually a week before it is due. As soon as the class opens I know what the project is and I start thinking about it.

I have one more CLC project and I think I will be militant about it just because I have so much pent up frustration...... :)

HLT 317 (anything class) has a group project, hopefully it goes smooth, lol Already written up my into, lol I lay it all out on the line in a polite way....talking about previous slackers..plagiarism....APA guideline..GCU powerpoint tutorial.....deadlines....last 5 weeks...then off to Europe for 3 weeks!!

Specializes in Cath Lab, Case Management.

The final step...graduation is set for October 17 at 7pm! I'm a little excited!

Can anybody give me instructor names (in a private message) that I do NOT want for Stats?? I will be super busy when I am in that class and wondering if I should even take a two week break, but I was hoping to get a great instructor! :)

Banging my head in spirituality. I am not a bible person, though I am very spiritual. I am finding this more of Christianity in nursing, not spirituality in nursing. Only thing that I have learned in respect to providing spiritual care to others was the work I did in week 3 for paper.

On the downhill slide, whew! Then taking a break, heading to the US for a month to see family.

I am thinking of exploring a different topic for capstone.

Did you find the book for this class. My SA told me that it is a downloaded PDF in the class resources. I switched out of this class because I felt under the gun during a busy holiday week. Will be starting this in 5 weeks.

I have not had very many CLC but none of them have gone smoothly. Everyone agrees on the outline, but inevitably someone is too busy to do their part, leaving me struggling with do their part versus making the instructor aware..

Not looking forward to this class as well, but I shall overcome --(Cue uplifting church music)

If you could let me know about the book situation once you start. My advisor stated that the book is in the resources and it is available as a PDF download. Thanks...
