They do seem long, but this is the first class that I feel like my nursing assessment skills will be really applied!! :) I think it will be more challenging that writing papers. ...and I may hate it! Haha!!

I did it last night...It took me about 45 minutes. I would consider myself quite slow on anything I have to read, comprehend, and write about...now, math I'd do all day at a steady pace! I may be in the wrong career field...ha! This class is just not for me and I will be so happy for it to end...actually, I'll be SUPER excited when I'm done altogether in May!!! :)

Ok...I maybe promise this will be my complaint about this Spirituality class!! Personhood chart...worth 10 points?!?! Pretty sure I won't be doing that!! Definitely not worth my time. Also...I hate when GCU gives us assignments that aren't in our reading! Really?? I'd be happy to do it all if it was in the textbooks given...but no! Grrrrrrr.......

It is doable! I work full-time Mon-Fri 0730-1630. I have one weekend a month at the beginning when I started, but then I quit the weekend gig! When I started I had a 4 year old and a 22 month old...plus, my 4 y/o has special needs and needs a lot more time and energy than I could have ever imagined. I have them on a strict routine and my husband helps out on Saturdays so I can do all of my assignments. It is a complete change of what I used to do each night, but I will be so happy in May when I am finally done! I really believe that if you worked 3- 12 hr shifts, this would be an easier way to complete the work for this school. I have a 3.96 right now (bc of my Ethics grade, my professor was unpredictable and my least favorite so far). I would like to ease up a little and not care if I received a B, but I don't know if I can! I am SUPER excited that once I have finished my Spirituality class (I'm at the end of week 2)...I will only have 4 classes left! :)

I'm in it now! It is ridiculous honestly...1000 word papers or 20 points?! The paper doesn't seem to be worth my time! I am having a hard time covering all the areas in the rubric with only 1000 words and he put in the announcements that if it is 100 words over the requirement he will send it back for us to edit! :-/ 5 weeks...5 weeks...5 weeks!! Well, 4 weeks now!! :)

I also found stats to be easy, but I do come from a math background and I have tutored students in math since middle school. On the other hand...I despise English and writing papers is not fun for me at all! I've been told most MSN programs are papers as well, so I probably will not go on after this unfortunately. Thanks for the tip for searching within all of the books! I will try this in my next class. :)

It really isn't that bad, I am just not liking my instructor. I appreciate her feedback, but she grades most work as unsatisfactory no matter what and I truly believe it is because she doesn't believe in the same things as I do. I have a 4.0 GPA and this class (my 6-7th class) will definitely not be an A. I was really upset, but tomorrow is the last day of the class and I am over it...kind of lol!

Also, how possible is it to overlap ethics and spirituality for two weeks?!! Would I be way overworking myself? Or, if possible, just overlapping one week? We plan on going home for over two weeks for the holidays and I do NOT want to have to do homework while I am there. I only get to see my family for 8 days out of the 2 weeks and I want to enjoy my time with them...as it only happens maybe once a year.
