Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?
Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?
Glad for all of your input! Believe me, I take all of it and thoroughly digest it! They need better instructions for this class. That is one thing I will stress in my end of class survey. Not sure if they really read those though.
Better instructions in some cases would help a great deal.
Yeah, if I was one of those Profs I'd make my very first Announcement:
"Please read the assignment descriptions thoroughly. THEN come back here and read what you're really supposed to do" (attached, of course, would be my ever-so-clear step by step instructions)
I think maybe they make them unclear on purpse so we all go "HUH??", ask a bunch of questions in the QFI, and then the prof gets credit for posting replies
I went through three, after my first one left it just wasn't the same, she was the best!!! Next one I didn't like at all, I think they fired him. My last one was getting on the annoying side at the end, calling me every week to see how I was doing. I'm paid, in the class I want to be in....leave me alone. =)
Wow, I must be lucky, I have had the same one since April last year and she extremely helpful! She just saved me taking an elective by using my certification as credits!
Totally agree with you Prism. You simply don't put the papers together and be done with it.
I actually printed the entire thing in rough draft forum. I then took a pen and started chopping, moving and adding to get the paper to flow.
I notice the problem within the second paper that'd I'd have to edit. I think if you know that ahead of time, it will save you headaches. I tried to edit as I was going and it drove me crazy. Write your papers and then edit. In my opinion, it's easier
just an FYI I'm in my 9th class of this program and I have an instructor that i dont like so much for nursing leadership & management. she would be one of the NOT RECOMMENDED INSTRUCTORS. so if your coming up to this class PM me and ill give you her info! anyways i start week 5 on monday so im almost done with her. and i start week 1 of patho on monday as well. 3 classes to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i will say i've had all A's in this program with that being mostly 96-99% on my final grades....well not so much in this class. Im at a B+ and if your OCD like me then you know this is killing me!!!
I so get this! I wanted to redo a paper that I missed 4 points on and the teacher had a cow. So I recognized my OCD and walked away from it.
Finish strong and be happy. It will be completely done soon enough:yes:.

In many ways I found the Capstone class easier to do as it was a topic I was interested in!!
