Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?
Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?
So I barely finished my first class and my adviser is leaving!Does this happen often?
I went through three, after my first one left it just wasn't the same, she was the best!!! Next one I didn't like at all, I think they fired him. My last one was getting on the annoying side at the end, calling me every week to see how I was doing. I'm paid, in the class I want to be in....leave me alone. =)

I really haven't had this experience, although my advisor calls me one week before each new class to see how I am doing. She is nice, helpful when I need to take a break or change classes but other than that I have not needed anything else from her.
So I am trying to get started on my next class which is spirituality. Opened the class and found out I have an instructor that is on the do not get list with a additional note saying at all costs next to it. Then I decided to start the reading while I wait to call my advisor to switch classes and find that I do not have the required E-Book in Vital Source Bookshelf. What????? I have such a busy week next week and I can't even get my discussion posts completed early......
There is a book listed in the syllabus and the first week quiz is based on the first weeks reading assignment. I wonder if the class has changed because the first paper is also based on the information and definitions found in the reading assignment. Of course this is all what the instructor has said. What is prime reality?

Just donned on me...The 1 class I just dropped HLT 314 showed a book that was for reading.....but no link to click on......turns out we had to rent the book on our own...Amazon had it...rent it forlike $22 for 5 weeks......When I logged on to my account to see what the course cost....there was no Grand canyon connect fee (what u pay for the books) was a much better deal..$22 Vice $110 or $80.......
Ok I need some advice- I have registered for Capstone and the list of professors I gave my SA are not teaching at the time I am scheduled to take it. He said he looked ahead a week, but there were not any profs listed as of yet. Do I take the chance? I just really want to get this over with, but at the same time don't want to make myself miserable! I'm on summer break from work so I wouldn't have to worry about the added stress of working. Appreciate any advice!

That's a hard one Derkfamily. I think that I would probably just wait a week. Only because I thought it was only the first 3 weeks that were truly grueling. So if your vacation time extends over just those first 3 weeks it might be worth the grief of waiting. In the mean time I'd sign up so you can peek in the classroom (get the syllabus) so you can be working ahead. HTH!
